I saw a really neat facility in a bigger jet this week where the GPS location was pasted on a Jepp chart while the aircraft was faffing about on the ground. You can also do this in Memory-Map. If the AIS aerodrome charts are freely available, then it would be a great enhancement for Skydemon mobile to handle this. The kind of thing I'm thinking about is that if the GPS speed is less than a certain value and max zoom is chosen, then the plate pops up with the aircraft marked up on it. It would greatly reduce the stress at larger airports when you get those complex calls like this (fictitious) one (you can guess the aerodrome and wind direction) ' Golf charlie delta, exit foxtrot 2, proceed via fox 2 down to bravo 2 then bravo 1, cleared to backtrack zero six and park at alpha 2"
